Vsebnost humusa se stalno obnavlja. Rodnost zemlje je odvisna od koli\u010dine organske snovi in njene hitrosti obnove. Humifikacija v zemlji nastaja vzporedno z razkrojem sve\u017ee organske snovi in humusa.<\/p><p>Proces razkroja in humifikacije je povezan z mikroorganizmi v zemlji in je odvisen od njihovega biolo\u0161kega razmerja. To vpliva na zmogljivost absorpcije vode in zraka, kot tudi na poroznost ali prepustnost vseh tipov tal.<\/p><\/li><li><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Humus naredi rahlo zemljo bolj kompaktno in zbito zemljo bolj rahlo. Sestavine humusa so glavni vir energije za mikroorganizme. So tudi pomemben oziroma edini prostor, kamor se shranjujejo makro in mikrohranila, ki so produkt style=\"text-align: left;\">Vsebnost humusnih elementov v zemlji je pomemben indikator njene rodovitnosti. Ravno zaradi tega svetujemo sistemati\u010dno analiziranje tal glede sestave humusa.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S so najpomembnej\u0161a mikrohranila, ki so potrebna za \u017eivljenje rastlin. Vsi ti elementi pa se lahko absorbirajo iz zemlje samo na podlagi mikrobiolo\u0161kih transformacij. Mikrobna biomasa shranjuje 5\u201325 kg P2O5 na hektar, kar velja za obdelovalni (vrhnji) sloj zemlje. Stopnja in hitrost procesov pri uporabi EM\u00ae tehnologije je odvisna od metod gnojenja, intenzivnosti pridelave, klime in tipa tal.<br \/>Zapleten proces simbioze med mikroorganizmi in rastlinami je lahko samoreguliran le v dolo\u010denih pogojih oziroma na dolo\u010denem nivoju. Taka tla vsebujejo pribli\u017eno 3,5 t\/ha organskega du\u0161ika, od \u010desar se ga 1\u20132% letno mineralizira. To je 35\u201370 kg\/ha N &#8211; NO3. Dodatno organsko gnojenje lahko prinese 40 kg du\u0161ika\/ha.V primeru ozimne p\u0161enice se njen donos omeji do vi\u0161ine 3\u20134 t\/ha. Na produktivnih in regeneriranih tleh, ki morajo biti\u00a0na\u010deloma rekonstruirana (obnovljena), je vsebina organskega du\u0161ika v povr\u0161inskem sloju (do 10 cm globoko), tudi do 19 t\/ha. V rastni sezoni se v tleh sprosti minimalno 300 kg du\u0161ika\/ha. To je spodnja meja za dosego pribli\u017eno 10 t\/ha pridelka p\u0161enice. Za taka tla ne potrebujete ve\u010d apnenja, saj lahko sama ohranijo svoje kemijsko ravnovesje. Znano je, da vra\u010danje rodnosti tal v prvotno (samoregulirano) stanje lahko poteka ve\u010d let in je v veliki meri odvisno od na\u010dina gnojenja, kolobarjenja, vrste gojenih kultur, tal, klime, koli\u010dine padavin ipd.
